Position Overview:

Trade and Research Analyst

Research, write, produce and deliver policy papers and associated programming in the Asian Trade Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Research trade policy issues
  • Prepare written materials including Policy Briefs, blog posts, newsletters, and slidepresentations
  • Engage on social media
  • Support program development and provide coordination for meetings, workshopsand events in Singapore and regionally
  • Prepare other written materials as needed
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Maintain relationships with existing stakeholders and cultivate new networks
  • Work with team across the organization to support ATC’s vision of improved trade in

Asia by building bridges between governments and companies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, economics or comparable field and 1-4 years of related experience
  • Broad understanding of trade, international business and international policies
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading
  • Ability to interact with senior level business executives and government officials
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Creative problem solving
  • Capacity to work independently, with excellent time management andorganizational skillsBenefits include:

The Asian Trade Centre:

The Asian Trade Centre (ATC) is the premier regional thought leader, advocate and educator for trade in Asia. ATC works directly with governments from around the world, companies, think tanks, foundations, non-governmental organizations, aid agencies and serves as the resource for trade-related activities in Asia.
