Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:
Join Hummingbird Bioscience on our journey as we transition from an early-stage drug discovery company to a global leader in drug development. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who will report to the Head of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance and support the implementation of quality regulations for the company.
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Participate in the development/enhancement of QA procedures, guidance documents and audit tools to ensure QA consistency.
Support the design and implementation of robust QA programs and practices.
Support the overall quality strategy to enhance growth and compliance readiness.
Support the development and maintenance of the companys Quality Management System to fulfill international quality system requirements.
Work closely with all staff to ensure that all aspects of the QMS is understood, implemented and maintained.
Support the preparation and /or review of SOPs in accordance with international standards (i.e. GMP, GDP, ISO, PIC/S).
Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
Support QA strategy approach and execution in development projects.
Assist in preparing documentation to support GxP compliance.
4 to 6 years of related experience in Quality Assurance.
Good time management skills with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize and co-ordinate multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities to deliver results to tight deadlines.
Ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems and proactively seek out continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external partners.
Ability to work independently and with the flexibility to handle workflow in a fast-paced start-up environment
